Haven’t you ever noticed that when you move to a larger apartment, your stuff expands to fill the extra space? It’s the same concept.
I’m moving to a smaller apartment soon.
Time to start pitching, then. This place that we’re in now is noticeably smaller than the one we had before, and we had to throw out or give away a lot of stuff when we moved.
(We’ll probably be moving again within six months or so too. It’s a long and unpleasant tale, which I’ll go into at some point if there’s reason, but we should end up with a place that we really like when we’re done.)
